Peace of mind comes from verification

Building and verifying a private uptime dashboard with Cloudflare Workers, D1 and Telegram alerts for deployed projects.

I wanted to try Telegram Bots for a while, and found the perfect excuse. ๐Ÿค–

Have you ever compulsively refreshed websites you've built, to make sure it's all working fine? Just me?

To fix that, I built a private uptime monitoring dashboard for my deployed projects. I have a Worker checking each public URL every five minutes, D1 stores status and incident history, and then a Telegram Bot alerts me, only when something goes down or recovers.

One-shot prompted, deployed, then checked live system: all four monitored services were healthy in the first scheduled cycle, and the site's production verifier passed 142/142 checks.

โš™๏ธ My takeaway: Peace of mind doesn't come from deploying. It comes from verification.

What do you use to spot problems in your own projects?
